Jose's foundation in construction was built early. Raised in Mendocino County, he was immersed in custom residential construction from a young age under the mentorship of an established Northern California contractor - learning the trade from the ground up before ever setting foot in a classroom.

He went on to earn a Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from CSU, Chico, gaining commercial construction experience with Bay Area firms along the way. That combination of field experience and formal training means projects at Gold Coast Builders are managed with both practical skill and professional rigor - budgets, timelines, and logistics handled with the same discipline as the build itself.

After contributing to the delivery of a complex public-sector facility in Butte County, Jose relocated to Southern California to return to his roots in custom residential construction. For the past five years, he has been with Hill Construction, a premier luxury home builder in Orange County, overseeing the development of high-end custom residences in collaboration with internationally renowned designers.
